Before joining Inter Mediate, Sameer spent five years in political consultancy with Global Partners Governance, working directly with senior politicians in governments, parliaments and devolved authorities internationally to develop strategies for reform and provide institutional support in order to improve the quality of political representation.
In the course of this work, Sameer oversaw the development and delivery of substantial donor-funded projects and helped design Monitoring & Evaluation systems for projects delivered in fragile and conflict-affected states.
He has travelled and worked extensively in the Middle East & North Africa region, most notably Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and Libya.
